Rangers Estate Life in a Park

Since inception landscaping for the estate has been carried out with the view to attracting a variety of wildlife particularly a wide array of birds. The estate is a balanced blend of rainforest trees with a scattering of more ornamental varieties. Although residents are free to plant their own lots as they wish, many have focussed on trees and shrubs that are valuable in attracting wildlife.

The creek and pond system is a valuable and historically significant area. This ever present water supply is also a great magnet for the local wildlife, The ponds are well maintained to ensure water quality remains the best it can be for the prevailing conditions throughout the year. Some of the flora that can be seen in the estate is: Black Bean - Bunya Pines - Tamarinds - Guioa - Tuckeroo - Lilly Pillys - Black Wattle - Cedar Trees - Illawarra Flame Trees - Red Gums - Poinciana - Jacaranda - Grevilleas - Variety of Palms - Brazillain Rain Trees - Evergreen Elder - Golden Penda and large variety of Elks, Ferns and Stags. The are of course areas of well manicured lawns and abundance of flowers and attractive stone retaining walls. A great balance of nature and attractive functionality.
